I'm not sure if this should be fixed from dBeaver side. DBeaver can be used to access any database or cloud application that has an ODBC or JDBC driver, such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQl, Salesforce, or Mailchimp. It appears that the advertised addition of Salesforce drivers only works with Salesforce CDP. You can quickly check this by running this simple query: I did some checks and (I'm not sure why) if the Character Set is different from UTF8, for example UTF8mb4 or latin1, dBeaver returns for queries casting CHAR or NCHAR.Īfter setting it as UTF8 all my queries that were returning now return the correct value!
